Fat Loss & Health – How and Why Are These Related?

Loss of fat leads to shedding weight which is very beneficial to the body in numerous ways. Fat loss & Health are co-related and the benefits of fat loss on health can be summarized as follows:

- increases energy level
- decrease in cholesterol level
- decrease in blood pressure
- decrease in body pains
- mobility is greatly enhanced
- improvement in breathing
- better quality of sleep
- prevents chest pain caused by lack of proper supply of oxygen to the heart
- decreases the possibility of heart ailments or stroke and sudden death resulting from them
- prevention of Type 2 diabetes and enhancement of blood sugar levels.

Fat loss & Health are to be approached in a slow and steady manner. Those suffering from blood pressure and diabetes can see many benefits of health even by losing just a few pounds if they are overweight. In order to lose 1 pound, our body must burn 3500 calories approximately in addition to the calories already burnt during our routine activities.

A few of the benefits resulting in fatloss by following slow and steady approach are:

- It is convenient to lose weight within a maximum limit of 1 pound every week.
- When you try to lose weight in an extremely quick fashion, you lose muscle instead of fat in addition to more probabilities of other complications like nutrient shortage, gallstones etc.
- The best way to lose weight and keep it off is by making lasting changes to one’s eating habits along with changes in physical activity. This is the sure way to see changes in fat loss & health.

A weight loss pill is a temptation to many to lose weight the easy way. But in reality, most of the weight loss pills do not provide results as they claim to be. Not just that, they result in side effects and sometimes major health risks too.

No matter whether you intend to lose weight or maintain it, the enhancement of eating habits is required. A minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity everyday is required by the body and they can be split and performed in sessions of every few minutes until one gets accustomed to it.
